I’m always amazed by the number of cars that can be pulled by a train—at least this was my thought as I lay in bed at 5am this morning listening to a train roaring through the community of Barriere.

Today a bug flew into my helmet which made me happy because it mean’t that it was warm outside. It was so warm today that I was able to hand-cycle in a t-shirt and shorts!

This was the busiest rest day yet. I started my morning off at 5:45am with an interview talking with Sandy Coleman of Whitehorse with CBC Radio. At 7:00am it was off with Doug to do a speech at the Rotary Club of Kamloops Daybreak, and at 8:45am, Cycle to Walk had the opportunity to chat with about one hundred children at Dufferin Elementary School.
