“In 2002 he went to India and met his birth mom whom he now keeps in contact with. During his visit there he met polio survivors who didn’t have a chance at medical care. He learned of polio survivors who, without the necessary medical attention and supports, were forced to crawl on the ground and pad their knees with cup-up pieces of tire.“
