Day 14 - Kamloops, BC Wrap Up- 3.5kms, Snake Pitt Make-Up

This was the busiest rest day yet. I started my morning off at 5:45am with an interview talking with Sandy Coleman of Whitehorse with CBC Radio. At 7:00am it was off with Doug to do a speech at the Rotary Club of Kamloops Daybreak, and at 8:45am, Cycle to Walk had the opportunity to chat with about one hundred children at Dufferin Elementary School.

Day 12 - Resting in Kamloops

Today was the team’s first day of rest in five days, and it was well deserved. Lynne and Bertha completed some shopping, Chris ran some errands and set up some more media interviews. The media in Kamloops have been wonderful, so there’s lots of interviews to be scheduled. After washing the support vehicle, Doug and I traveled to Salmon Arm and visited with an old family connection.
