imageToday was all about teamwork: we divided and conquered! Bertha and John were my supports out on the road while Doug and Kip promoted the campaign at the FREX Exhibition in Fredericton. Chris, as usual, was busy sending out email messages and leaving voice mails to various media outlets so they would be ready for Cycle to Walk first thing after the long weekend.

Journey to fight polio brings hand cyclist to Valley

Here’s a piece from Novanewsnow.com about Cycle to Walk’s upcoming visit to Kentville, Nova Scotia on September 7.

Ann Lockhart of the New Minas Sunrise Rotary Club says Ferris is tentatively scheduled to arrive at the Wandlyn Inn, Coldbrook off Highway 101 at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7.

After he is greeted, she said, local cyclists and runners are invited to travel with him to downtown Kentville. Lockhart expects he will complete the square and head for Memorial Park and some speeches.
