Early this morning Dr. Allon Reddoch and Mary Reddoch departed for Vancouver to assist Doug and Birtha with the preparing the support vehicles! As well Adam Green from Terra Firma flew down to complete decaling the Motor-home, suburban and trailer! Thanks Allon, Mary and Adam for all your support of Cycle to Walk!

This morning Cycle to Walk enroute team members Doug and Birtha Ayers flew out of Whitehorse to Vancouver to prepare for the support vehicles for the April 12th launch in Victoria.

Today my technical clothing was ready to be picked up from Ada Rinkes she spent hours volunteering to sew the Cycle to Walk, and Yukon Larger Than Life Logos on to the clothing that I will wear when I hand-cycle and make presentations.

Thank you to Kim and Jerry owners of M & M meats who hosted a Cycle to Walk fundraising BBQ. The BBQ attracted many people, thanks for everyone who came out. A big thanks to Carmen Ingram and all the other hard working volunteers who cooked, sold t-shirts, and received donations.

I can’t believe we are only 6 days away from the ceremonial start of the Cycle to Walk campaign in Whitehorse. It seems as though every where I go people are wishing me well and saying Yukon is behind Cycle to Walk!

I’m now back in my hometown of Whitehorse, Yukon. During the week Cycle to Walk was invited to participate in interviews with CBC North and CKRW- this was a wonderful opportunity to give some updates on the great progress of the campaign!
