Day 12 - Resting in Kamloops

Today was the team’s first day of rest in five days, and it was well deserved. Lynne and Bertha completed some shopping, Chris ran some errands and set up some more media interviews. The media in Kamloops have been wonderful, so there’s lots of interviews to be scheduled. After washing the support vehicle, Doug and I traveled to Salmon Arm and visited with an old family connection.

Yeah! The team made it to Kamloops today after five days of travel through major mountains, hillsides, rain, snow, sleet and wind.
Day 10 - Nearing Kamloops- 78.2kms

Today was a great day for hand cycling. There was blue sky, sunshine, and wind at my back.
Day 9 - Nearing Cache Creek, BC- 53kms
