Today was a lovely day in Berthierville. We took the time to study maps, clean the RV, do laundry, send emails, and finalize details about the journey ahead. In the afternoon, I met with young cadets taking a rest from their bus ride and spoke with them about polio and what Cycle to Walk is all about.

Doug was finally able to sit down and read a book! He’s been talking about doing that since we were in Alberta. In the evening, Doug, Bertha and John played cards while Chris worked out details for our visits to Montréal and Québec City. It’s a short blog today, everyone. Today was a quiet day - and those aren’t so bad every so often!
