Day 155 - Pictou, Nova Scotia - 63 km

imageToday I wore socks and an under shirt while I cycled, which means we have been on the road for a very long time. It really doesn’t feel like we’ve been on the road for 5 months – time flies when you’re having fun, I suppose.  Today’s cycle took the team through some beautiful autumn colours. While I was cycling I thought it would be sure nice if there were even more colours to see, but then I took it back when I remembered a simple truth:  fall leaves = colder temperatures.

I can’t believe that we will be on Prince Edward Island tomorrow. The team travelled to the water’s edge at Pictou today; we’ll board a ferry to take us to Prince Edward Island early tomorrow morning. While the team was in Pictou, we checked out the local market to meet with locals and share the message of Cycle to Walk. It was nice to hear that several people had either heard the about the campaign on television or had seen us on the road!

We’ll be away from Nova Scotia for a couple of days, but it won’t be long before we return. We ferry back to the mainland on Wednesday morning to continue towards North Sydney! Prince Edward Island, get ready: Cycle to Walk is coming!
