It was another grueling day of rain and intense easterly headwinds today. Anglican Bishop Greg Kerr-Wilson joined me for the first part of the day, and we cycled together out of the Regina area. CTV News even came out to see us off and get some footage of Cycle to Walk in action.

Over the course of the day, the team pushed on to Indian Head, SK, which is 61 km from our start point. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by Jim and Audrey Smith, a kind couple who run the Corner House B&B here in town. Given how chilled and fatigued I was, this was an incredible treat. After I had a nice hot bath, we enjoyed a fantastic dinner in the RV. It was a great way to cap off a long day.

Thanks to Jim and Audrey for your great small town hospitality! After a hard day like today, it’s exactly what we need to keep going.
