What an honour it was for Cycle to Walk to be recognized in the Yukon Legislature today! It’s great to see the Territorial Leaders come together to support Cycle to Walk,

By showing this type of support it demonstrates that we must rally together to send a message within our Territory of Yukon, through out Canada and to our Global Community that we need to work together to eradicate polio once and for all, continue immunizations to protect our children against polio, and to assist polio victims with rehabilitative support!!

The dream of Cycle to Walk for me started 4 years ago, many people that I use to work with quite often heard the frequent developments as the Cycle to Walk progressed into what it is today!

This afternoon I went around town and said my good byes to my former colleagues! Thanks to all my former colleagues at the Government of Yukon’s Health and Social Services Adult Services Unit, and Employment Central for listening to my daily updates of Cycle to Walk over the past four years and your continued support!

Cycle to Walk Executive Director Shelley Williamson departed Whitehorse today for Victoria to assist with the April 12th Launch! Thanks Shelley for all your hard work!

Golden Horn Students it was wonderful to speak with you today, I’m so happy to see your excitement of Cycle to Walk, and I’m looking forward to your participation in the ceremonial start!
