Cycle to Walk is a project that aims to raise funds and awareness to forward the global eradication of polio, to educate about the continuing need for immunization against polio and to support the rehabilitation of polio survivors in poor countries. After dipping my first brace into the Pacific Ocean the team headed to Mile Zero where we were greeted by lots of supporters, friends, family, and dignitaries.
