Message: Hi! You should read this. It's from the Cycle to Walk website. Cycle to Walk is a project that aims to raise funds and awareness to forward the global eradication of polio, to educate about the continuing need for immunization against polio and to support the rehabilitation of polio survivors in poor countries. Our first blog entry, how exciting! So, 28 days to go and we’re feverishly working on the various components of organizing accommodations, events, the logistics of getting our vehicles on the road and of course, Ramesh is training diligently down in Vancouver (in the rain I’m told) to be ready for the April 10th ceremonial kick off in Whitehorse. I’m not sure any of us were prepared for the scope of organizing something this massive when we took on the project but all of our board members and those of us plugging away in the office are pulling together, and all systems should be go within the next 3 weeks. http://www.cycletowalk.com/journey/entry/23/
