Message: Hi! You should read this. It's from the Cycle to Walk website. Cycle to Walk is a project that aims to raise funds and awareness to forward the global eradication of polio, to educate about the continuing need for immunization against polio and to support the rehabilitation of polio survivors in poor countries. This week has been full of last minute training, packing, and media interviews! I participated in my first television interview with City TV Vancouver this past Monday! The camera person took some video clips as I hand-cycled along the sea wall here in Vancouver. During the taping of the last video clip I was about to hand-cycle towards the reporter and then out of all times the hand-cycle chain broke! After we all laughed about this unexpected chain break, we finished up the interview and then the bike was quickly fixed up by the great staff at Reckless Bike Store on Fir Street. http://www.cycletowalk.com/journey/entry/40/
