Enroute to Kamloops!
- Sat, April 19, 2008
As it stands, we hope to be in Kamloops by April 24th.
Day 8- Lytton, BC- 44.6kms
- Sat, April 19, 2008
44kms of climbing, head winds, -1 degree weather with a -6 degree wind chill all summed up today’s cycling.
Day 7- Boston Bar, BC- 70kms
- Fri, April 18, 2008
As we have been cycling I have come to enjoy the sound of trains passing by; some of them will sound their horns to show support of the Cycle to Walk. I have learned that hearing the sound of the trains at 5:00am doesn’t quite give me that same feeling.
Pedalling beyond Hope, B.C.
- Fri, April 18, 2008
Ramesh and the Cycle to Walk road team are heading north past Hope on Highway #1 this morning.
Day 6
- Thu, April 17, 2008
Today was my second day of rest, However I found this hard to believe as I was awake at 6:30am (According to my father this would be sleeping in) to attend a meeting at the Chilliwack Mt.Cheam Rotary Club.
Day 5- Back to Chilliwack, BC
- Wed, April 16, 2008
Today was my first non-cycling day since the campaign started.
We had two radio interviews in the morning (CBC and CKNW 980 Vancouver), a presentation at Chilliwack Secondary School, and a speech at the Rotary Club of Chilliwack-Fraser.
